Truck Cables
This method is not recommended for use on sites with large numbers of cables and where hot metals may be scattered or existing liquids are destroyed, with extensive surface saturation of underground and terrestrial technological and transport communications and other facilities; soils containing large quantities of substances that deplete the cable; and in areas where bulbic currents often reach dangerous surfaces, For cables planted in the land, predominantly armoured cables should be used; the metal casings of these cables should be external to protect against chemical impacts.
Three-four check cables are allowed to be laid in one tranche with power cables. The sediment depth of the design mark(s) shall be at least: for the TC up to 20 kV - 0, 7 m; 35 kV - 1 m. The oiled cable lines 110-220 kV shall have a depth of at least 1, 5 m.
When determining the length of the cable, it must be taken into account that, in order to compensate for temperature deformations and possible changes of soil (mechanical voltages), cables in tranches are swamped (the seed), which increases their length by 1.2 per cent.
Dimensions of the tranche in the shell power cables up to 10 kV shall be accepted at least as indicated in the table. 5.3 (Figure 5.3).
